Virginia Boyd Noell

Virginia Boyd Noell, 101, of Montvale departed this life on Wednesday, February 8, 2012.  She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Bee Noell, two brothers, Virgil Garrett Noell and John Royal Noell, one sister, Anne Louise Noell Myers and her parents, Hattie Boyd Noell and Royal Duncan Noell.  Mrs. Noell was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church, Senior Citizens, and active in the Democratic Party.  She retired from Guy Garretts Store (Montvale) and Woodhaven Nursing Home (Villamont).  Mrs. Noell was a lover of nature.  She was a wonderful cook, grew beautiful roses and other flowers, fed all of the neighborhood birds, squirrels and loved all animals.  Mrs. Noell is survived by a brother-in-law, Fred (Frances) Myers and his loving family including nieces and nephews, Cathy Myers Bailey, Rita (Ken) Kamper, and Bill (Sherry) Myers and their families.  Other nieces and nephews Roberta (Orvil) Reedy, Dayna Noell Shelley, Roger (Cheryl) Noell, Winfred Noell, Linda (Darrell) Quesenberry and Cindy Noell Flint.  Also surviving are over 50 nieces and nephews.  Virginia will be missed by many Friends at Senior Citizens and by close friends Dennis and Susan Epperly.  The family will receive friends on Friday, February 10, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.  at Burch-Messier Funeral Home, (Main Street Location).   A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday at Epworth United Methodist Church with Rev.
