Peggy Overstreet Isenhour

Peggy Overstreet Isenhour, 62, of Lynchburg, passed away peacefully Monday, August 1, 2011 at Lynchburg General Hospital.  She was born in Bedford County on June 13, 1949. She was preceded in death by her parents, Corbin G. Overstreet and Dorothy Wheat Overstreet and her former husband, John W. (Tim) Isenhour.  She is survived by three daughters, Wendie I. Overstreet and husband, Russell of Bedford; Angelia D.  Kent and husband, Andrew of Lynchburg; Kimberly I. Wood and husband, Kenny of Huddleston; four grandchildren, Shawn and Bradley Kent; Hannah and Emily Wood; three brothers, Clifton Overstreet and wife, Linda of Big Island; Gary B. Overstreet of Bedford; Michael W. Overstreet and wife, Kim of Concord; a sister, Carolyn Kaye Kitner and husband, Joe of Bedford; several nieces and nephews including, Zach and Taylor.  The family would like to thank the staff of Lynchburg General Hospital for all the care and support they provided throughout her illness.  The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, August 4, 2011 at Burch-Messier Walnut Street Chapel, 1235 Walnut Street, Bedford with a Memorial service beginning at 7:00 p.m. with Rev.
