Patricia M. Bunn, 59, of 915 Lake Dr., Bedford, passed away at home on Sunday, August 21, 2011, following a lengthy illness.  She was surrounded by her family and her friends at the time of her death.  She was born September 15, 1951 in Bedford, a daughter of the late Maurice and Louise Hatcher.  She is survived by her husband, Richard, two daughters, Jennifer Surface and Angela Bunn, both of Bedford; and a grandson, Logan; two sisters, Alice Jenkins of Chester and Phyllis Hensley of Bedford;  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Daniel. Over the years, Mrs. Bunn was a Navy wife, a school cafeteria worker, a Certified Nurses Aid and secretary for several churches in the Bedford area.  Before her illness, she enjoyed cooking, canning, and moist of all; Trish enjoyed spending time with her children and grandson, especially going on field trips with Logan at school.  A very special thank you to Amy Johnson and to Seven Hills Hospice.   The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Burch-Messier Walnut Street Chapel, 1235 Walnut Street, Bedford, 540-586-7360.
