Margaret Loise Harvey Bovee

Margaret Harvey Bovee, 85,of Bedford and formerly of Danville, died Sunday, February 19, 2012 at Bedford Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Roanoke on November 4,1926 a daughter of the late Horace Harvey and Lora Meador Harvey.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Gayle Eugene Bovee, Sr. She was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Danville and was retired as a clerk with Dan River Inc.  Later in life she helped her son, Tom at the Medicine Shoppe Pharmacy in Bedford.   She is survived by her sons, Thomas A. Bovee and his wife, Tricia of Bedford; Gayle E. Bovee, Jr. and his wife, Vicki; two daughters, Bessie Lee Wyatt and Jenny Lynn Morton.  In lieu of flowers please consider St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at Danville Memorial Gardens, 510 Church Ave. Danville, VA  24541 with Rev. Steve Burgess officiating.
