Virginia Beatrice Foutz Pizzati, 97, of Bedford, died Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Roanoke Memorial Hospital. She born in Bedford, October 14, 1914, a daughter of the late Dave Foutz and Susie Giles Foutz. She was a communicant of Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Roger Gabriel Pizzati, and her sister Elsie Stowers. She is survived by her children, Roger G. Pizzati, Jr.; Elsa P. Giglio, 5 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild; 3 sisters, Lucille Spradlin, Sadie Seabolt, and Rachel Smith; many nieces and nephews.
