Catherine Elizabeth Wilkerson

  Catherine Elizabeth Sneed Wilkerson, 80, of Bedford, died Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at Campbell’s Rest Home.  She was born on January 5, 1931 a daughter of the late Phillip Bailey Sneed and Annie Odelle Carden Sneed.  She was retired from Rubatex with 28 years of service.  In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl T. Wilkerson; a brother, Phillip (Buster) Sneed, Jr.  She is survived by four children, E.T. Wilkerson, Jr. and wife, Mary Jane; Ricky Wilkerson; Michelle Bowyer and husband, Tom all of Bedford; Tracy Brown and husband, Donnie of Vinton; two grandsons, Chad Smith and wife, Mandy; Matthew Wilkerson and wife, Hope all of Bedford; step-grandson, Todd Brown and wife, Calli of Roanoke; step-granddaughter, Tina Crowder of Vinton; two great-grandsons, Logan Wilkerson and Westin Smith both of Bedford; one step great grandson, Brendan Draughn of Vinton; sister-in-law, Joanne Sneed; many nieces and nephews,  her faithful dog, Cheyanne.  A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Peaks Presbyterian Church with Rev.
