Arthur Lee Watkins, 66, of Bedford, passed on to his Heavenly Reward on August 12, 2011. Lee was born on July 29, 1945 in Big Island. Lee was a charter member of Chestnut Hill Freewill Baptist Church in Big Island. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carl B. Watkins and Katie Comer Watkins. Lee is survived by a son, Arthur Lee Watkins, Jr.; five brothers, Carl Dean, John, and Charles Watkins of Big Island; Jack of Martin, GA; one sister, Rosaline W. Huskin, of Ila, GA; many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at Chestnut Hill Freewill Baptist Church.
