Aaron Ashley Padgett

Aaron Ashley Padgett, age 20, of Bedford passed away on Thursday, October 20, 2011 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.  He was born in Salem on March 1, 1991, a son of Brent  A. and Brenda B. Padgett.   Aaron was a 2009 Graduate of Liberty High School and a member of the Soccer Team.  He was a proud former employee of the National D-Day Memorial.   In addition to his parents, Aaron is survived by his two brothers: Trey and Jordon Padgett; his maternal grandmother, Lucienne Bowden, Moneta; his paternal grandmother, Betty Padgett Jenkins, Bedford: his girlfriend, Courtney Parker, Bedford.   Aaron’s love for children and older folks was one of his many fine characteristics along with his wonderful sense of humor.  Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday,October 23, 2011 at 3:00 p.m.  at Trinity Baptist Church with the Rev. Vernon DeLong and  Rev. Jonathan Falwell officiating.  Burial will follow in Greenwood  Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the church, prior to the funeral service,starting at 1:00 pm.  In lieu of flowers,memorials may be made to the National D-Day Memorial , PO Box 77, Bedford, VA24523.  Arrangements are by Burch-Messier Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Bedford.  (540) 586-7360.
